"The Empire Bus, a (YAC) Youth Advisory Centre, is dedicated to empowering South Africa's youth. We foster personal growth through Youth Development initiatives, enhance employability via Skills Development programs, and cultivate strategic Partnerships to amplify impact. Our Job Placement Program connects trained individuals with meaningful employment opportunities, while our Entrepreneurship Development pillar nurtures innovative entrepreneurs. By integrating these five pillars, we strive to eradicate poverty, unlock youth potential, and drive socio-economic growth in South Africa. The Empire Bus is starting a branch in Protea Glen, Soweto, for its Grant Program, led by Branch Manager Refilwe Sediti (078 512 5745). As part of our commitment to empowering local youth, 30 participants have been selected for the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) training program. This program equips participants with essential skills to develop business plans, navigate lease agreements, source suppliers, and compile necessary documentation, including certified ID and matric copies. Upon completion, participants will be well-prepared to apply for grants, taking the first step towards entrepreneurship."
